Spot Packing Service:
This service allows you to camp by yourself at your choice of destination, we simply pack your heavy gear for you! Our prices are based on 150 pound weight limit per each pack animal and an eight hour round trip day. Along with weight, it is important to remember that the size of your items are a factor in how much you can put on a horse. Try to minimize the size and weight of all items. Loads may not always be able to weigh 150 pounds. Drop camps are also available.

High Country Outfitters offers a variety of pack trips into the mountains of Idaho. The Sawtooth Wilderness if famed for it's miles of easily passable trails and 200+ pristine mountain lakes, not to mention the majestic granite peaks that tower 10,000 feet in elevation. View the lush, green mountain meadows, immense valleys, and an abundance of wildlife and birds. Pack your camera and binoculars and leave the cell phone on the charger and escape to what our pioneers discovered. We will customize your vacation according to your trip length, group size, and campsites. All pack trips are subject to 6% Idaho sales tax, 50% deposit required to book a pack trip. Gratuities not included.
