This was a great fish! I caught it while trolling in front of a tributary stream to the lake. The fish was 41.5" long and had a girth measurement of 27.25". I figured it weighed in the neighborhood of 25-27lbs. I hooked the fish and the driver of the boat killed the motor. I thought I was snagged on the bottom until the fish made its first run. It pulled the boat approximately 60 yards off shore before we saw the fish. When it came to the surface the first time, it saw us and made another run of about 60 yards (while pulling the boat). After the second run I got the fish to the surface and my partner was able to tail the fish and we took the picture shown above. I released the fish after taking the measurements and photo's and it swam back into the deep waters of the lake.
